Mayor opens Village Board meeting at 7pm

 

Pledge of Allegiance

 

Present: Mayor Miccio, Deputy Mayor Phillips, Trustees Ferrara, Brozier and Newhard, Village Clerk Angela Arasim

 

 

Mayor entertains motion to approve the minutes of October 2nd meeting, So Move, Deputy Mayor Phillips, Seconded, Trustee Newhard, none, all in favor: Aye

 

Mayor entertains motion to enter executive session to discuss a personnel issue regarding an employee, So Move Deputy Mayor Phillips, Seconded, Trustee Newhard, discussion, none, all in favor, Aye.

 

Mayor entertains motion to close executive session and return to regular meeting, So Move Trustee Ferrara, Seconded, Deputy Mayor Phillips, discussion, none, all in favor, Aye.

 

No action taken in executive session

 

Mayor reads abstracts:

Sewer $18,810.69

Trust & Agency $4,654

Water $41,531.87

Capital Projects Glenham Meter Pit $11,140.18

General $42,045.69

 

Mayor entertains motion to approve abstracts as read, So Move Trustee Brozier, Seconded, Trustee

Newhard, discussion, none, all in favor, Aye.  Motion carried.

 

Mayor reads water sewer warrant for the 3rd quarter billing of $715,550.48 and entertains motion to accept as read, So Move Deputy Mayor Phillips, Seconded, Trustee Newhard, discussion, none, all in favor, Aye. Carried

 

Mayor reads resignation letter submitted by Radcliffe Wilson effective October 28th, Deputy Mayor Phillips moves to accept as read, Seconded, Trustee Newhard, discussion, none, all in favor, Aye. Carried

 

ATTORNEY

 

Mayor reads resolution regarding a Memorandum of Understanding with the Dutchess County Soil and Water District and entertains a motion to accept as read, So Move Deputy Phillips Mayor, Seconded, Trustee Newhard, discussion, none, all in favor, Aye. Carried.

Fire: Mayor reads report submitted by Chief Knapp, on file.

 

Justice report submitted by Court Clerk and read by Mayor

 

Police report read by Commissioner Scofield, Jr.

Commissioner Scofield states resignation letter submitted by Officer Richard Archer; Mayor entertains motion to accept resignation effective October 31st, So Move Trustee Brozier, Seconded, Trustee Newhard, discussion, none, all in favor, Aye. Carried

 

Mayor entertains motion to approve the purchase of new server and workstation for police department, So Move Deputy Mayor Phillips, Seconded, Trustee Newhard, discussion, none, all in favor, Aye. Carried

 

Water/Sewer: No report submitted

 

Project Coordinator- Rad Wilson reads report

 

Ambulance report submitted

 

Mayor opens to floor

 

Jean Gilliand is present to discuss garbage at park; she cleans up what she can but states it’s an ongoing problem.

 

Trustee Ferrara moves to adjourn, Seconded Trustee Newhard, discussion, none, all in favor, Aye.  Motion carried.  8:20 pm
