Mayor entertains motion to accept the minutes of the January 7th meeting So Move Deputy Mayor Phillips, Seconded Trustee Newhard, discussion, none, all in favor, Aye,

Mayor reads abstracts:

Mayor entertains motion to approve abstracts as read, So Move Trustee Ferrara, Seconded, Trustee Newhard, discussion, none, all in favor, Aye.

Cabaret license applications submitted by Piano, Piano Wine Bar, Paula’s Stone Cottage Wine Bar, Eleven-11, Whitehouse, Fast Eddie’s, Ramada Inn, Grand Centro Grill; Mayor entertains motion to approve applications submitted for 1 year, So Move Deputy Mayor Phillips, Seconded, Trustee Ferrara, discussion, none, All in favor, Aye. Motion carried

Mayor reads Water/Sewer Warrant for the 4th quarter of 2012 submitted by Village Clerk and entertains motion to approve as read, So Move, Trustee Ferrara, Seconded, Deputy Mayor Phillips, Discussion, none, All in favor, Aye. Motion carried

Mayor entertains motion to set a public hearing on Monday, February 4th, 2013 at 7pm for Bill B-2012, a proposed local law to increase the water rate 10%, So move, Trustee Ferrara, Seconded, Deputy Mayor Phillips, discussion, this increase would start for the 1st quarter billing of 2013, All in favor, Aye. Motion carried

Deputy Mayor Phillips moves to authorize the Mayor to sign a letter from David Wise requesting authorization to transfer Village files from his prior law firm to his new law firm, Seconded, Trustee Ferrara, discussion, none, All in favor, Aye. Motion carried

Mayor reads SEQR resolution regarding the Route 9 Water main system and entertains motion to approve as read, So Move Trustee Ferrara, Seconded, Deputy Mayor Phillips, discussion, none, all in favor, Aye. Motion carried.

Mayor reads Bond Resolution authorizing $1,700,000 bonds for the Rt. 9 water line improvement project and entertains motion to approve as read, So Move, Trustee Ferrara, seconded, Deputy Mayor Phillips, discussion, none, All in favor, Aye. Motion carried

REPORTS

BLDG INSPECTOR REPORT:  Tom Vantine reads report, on file. 

FIRE: Mayor summarizes report submitted by Chief Scofield, on file

Ambulance report: Trustee Newhard submitted report (on file)

Hans Klingzahn, Chairman of the Planning Board and Attorney Victoria Polidoro gives the Village Board an overview of the Special Use permit proposed local law. Public hearing to be set at next meeting in February.

Deputy Mayor Phillips moves to authorize the Mayor to sign the SEQR Environmental Assessment Form, Page 10, for the proposed local law  to amend the zoning law to provide additional regulations for specially permitted uses and make other associated changes, Seconded Trustee Newhard, discussion,

Trustee Ferrara questions certain items on EAF and Victoria Polidoro clarifies, all in favor, Aye. Motion carried

Mayor opens to floor

Mike Lucas, Hopewell Ave. discusses Redl property condition. Bldg Inspector to handle

Harold Bushek, 238 Carol Lane requests information on the proposed Route 9 Waterline improvement project, the extent of the work.

Mayor summarizes project
