Mayor opens public hearing for Bill J-2014- a proposed local law to amend the sign laws regarding A-Frame style chalkboard signs

No public comments, Mayor closes public hearing and opens workshop meeting

Mayor entertains motion to approve abstracts as read, So Move, Trustee Ferrara, Seconded, Trustee Newhard, discussion, none, all in favor, Aye, Opposed, none, carried.

Mayor entertains motion to approve the minutes of the December 16th meeting, So Move Trustee Brozier, Seconded, Trustee Ferrara, discussion, none, All in favor, Aye. Motion carried

Mayor entertains motion to adopt Bill J-2014 as Local Law 1-2015, So Move Trustee Ferrara, Seconded, Deputy Mayor Phillips, discussion, none, all in favor, Aye. Motion carried.

Mayor reads resolution regarding police headquarters Access Control System lease and entertains motion to accept as read, So Move, Deputy Mayor Phillips, Seconded, Trustee

Ferrara, discussion, none, all in favor, Aye. Motion carried.


Deputy Mayor Phillips requests that Village attorney write up a resolution requiring planning board approval for utility company projects in the Village.

Hans Klingzahn requests property owner of 1004 Main Street be told not to plow snow up to public sidewalks where it makes it very hazardous for pedestrians. Building Inspector to contact owner and advise him.

Deputy Mayor Phillips moves to adjourn, Seconded, Trustee Ferrara, Discussion, none, all in favor, Aye.  Meeting adjourned at 7:35 pm
