Mayor opens Village Board meeting.

Pledge of Allegiance

Present: Mayor Miccio, Deputy Mayor Phillips, Trustees Ferrara, Newhard and Brozier, Village Clerk, Angela Arasim

Mayor entertains motion to approve the minutes of the April 4 and April 12th meetings, So Move, Trustee Brozier, Seconded, Trustee Newhard, Discussion, none, all in favor, Aye.  Motion carried.

Mayor reads abstracts:

General $46,559.98

Water $16,619.10

Mayor entertains motion to approve abstracts as read, So Move Trustee Ferrara, Seconded, Trustee Brozier, discussion, none, all in favor, Aye. Motion carried

Sewer abstract $6,755.58 Mayor entertains motion to accept as read, So Move Trustee Newhard, Seconded, Trustee Brozier, Discussion, none, all in favor, Aye. Motion carried.

Mayor entertains motion to approve Mass Gathering permit submitted by the Fishkill Business Association for the Rock Around the Clock Block Party on May 21st, So Move Deputy Mayor Phillips, Seconded, Trustee Ferrara, Discussion, none, all in favor, Aye. Motion carried.

Mayor entertains motion to rescind the open container law for the Rock Around the Clock Block party on May 21st from 6pm to 10pm on Main Street, So Move Trustee Ferrara, Seconded, Trustee Newhard, Discussion, none, all in favor, Aye.  Motion carried.

Mayor entertains motion to appoint Madeline Stanton and Bonnie Babcock as Village Election inspectors for the June 21st election, at $135 each, So move Trustee Ferrara, Seconded, Trustee Newhard, Discussion, none, all in favor, Aye.  Motion carried.

Mayor reads water/sewer warrant for the 1st quarter of 2016 for $434,744.60, and entertains motion to accept as read, So Move Deputy Mayor Phillips, Seconded, Trustee Ferrara, Discussion, none, all in favor, Aye.  Motion carried.

Mayor entertains motion to set a public hearing for May 10th 7pm for the Village of Fishkill’s Year 13 Stormwater Management Program Annual Report (SWMPAR) MS4 report, So Move Trustee Brozier, Seconded Trustee Newhard, Discussion, none, all in favor, Aye. Motion carried

Mayor entertains a motion to allow Jewelya Salomone to use the Village Hall for a booksigning/children’s event sometime in June: date to be discussed w/Clerk, So Move Trustee Newhard, Seconded, Trustee Brozier, Discussion, None, all in favor, Aye.  Motion carried.

Jonathan Drapkin, Patterns for Proress and Anthony Ruggiero, City of Beacon are present to discuss police services study

Membership/Annual Elections:

Police: Lt. Goddard reads report, on file

Water/Sewer: Dave Morrison reads report, on file

Deputy Mayor Phillips moves to accept the bid of $433.99 for water/sewer dept. pickup truck, Seconded, Trustee Newhard, discussion, none, all in favor, Aye.  Motion carried.

Project Coordinator report read by Rad Wilson

Mayor entertains motion to allow Village hall to be used by Rabbi for services on Sunday June 12 from 1-5pm, So move Deputy Mayor Phillips, Seconded, Trustee Brozier, discussion, none, all in favor, Aye.  Motion carried.

Deputy Mayor Phillips moves to adjourn, Seconded, Trustee Ferrara, discussion, none, all in favor, Aye.  Meeting adjourns at 8:15
