Mayor opens public hearing for the 2015-2016 Budget and states a 1.5% tax increase

Mayor opens it up to the public

Mayor closes public hearing and opens regular meeting

Pledge of Allegiance

Present: Mayor Miccio, Deputy Mayor Phillips, Trustees Newhard, Ferrara and Brozier, Village Clerk Angela Arasim.

Mayor entertains motion to approve the minutes of the May 6th meeting, So Move, Deputy Mayor Phillips, Seconded Trustee Ferrara, Discussion, none, all in favor, Aye. Motion carried.

Mayor reads abstracts:

General Fund: $44, 817.95

Water-$13,434.80

Sewer-$8,036.13

Cap. Projects WWTP Generator $81,536.35

Trust & Agency-$3923.75

Trustee Newhard moves to accept abstracts as read, Seconded, Trustee Brozier, discussion, none, all in favor, Aye.  Motion Carried

Mayor entertains motion to approve 2015-2016 budget with 1.5% tax increase, So Move Trustee Ferrara, Seconded, Trustee Newhard, discussion, none, all in favor, Aye. Motion carried.

Mayor reads the water/sewer warrant for the 1st quarter of 2015 for $450,295.43 and entertains motion to accept as read, So Move Trustee Ferrara, Seconded, Deputy Mayor Phillips, discussion, none, all in favor, Aye.

Mayor entertains motion to approve the mass gathering permit submitted by the Fishkill Business Association for the block party on May 16th, So Move Deputy Mayor Phillips, Seconded, Trustee Newhard, discussion, none, all in favor, Aye. 

Mayor entertains motion to rescind the open container law for the Fishkill Business Association Block party on May 16th from 6pm to 10pm on Main Street, So Move Deputy Mayor Phillips, Seconded, Trustee Newhard, discussion, none, all in favor, Aye. 

Mayor entertains motion to appoint election inspectors Madeline Stanton and Bonnie Babcock at $120 each and Election machine custodian John Lucariello at $125, So Move Deputy Mayor Phillips, Seconded, Trustee Ferrara, discussion, none, all in favor, Aye. Motion carried

 

ATTORNEY

Mayor reads lessee resolution for SCVA and entertains motion to accept as read and authorize him to sign, So Move Trustee Brozier, Seconded, Trustee Newhard, discussion, none, all in favor, Aye. Motion carried

Project Coordinator report read by Rad Wilson

Ambulance report submitted by Trustee Newhard
