Mayor opens Public Hearing for Bill E-2014 a proposed local law to override the tax levy established in municipal law §3-c and gives summary of Bill

No public comments, Mayor closes public hearing and opens public hearing for 2014/2015 Budget

No public comment Mayor closes public hearing and opens the regular Board meeting.

Mayor entertains motion to accept the minutes of the April 8th meeting, So Move Trustee Ferrara, Seconded, Deputy Mayor Phillips, Discussion, none, all in favor, Aye,

Mayor reads abstracts:

General $42,700.56

Water $14,627.42

Sewer $3,989.43

Trust & Agency $3,221.28

Cap. Projects Firehouse Renovation $23,714.14

Mayor entertains motion to approve abstracts as read, So Move Trustee Ferrara, Seconded, Trustee Newhard, discussion, none, all in favor, Aye.

Mayor entertains motion to adopt Bill E-2014 as Local Law 4-2014, So Move Trustee Ferrara, Seconded, Trustee Brozier, discussion, none, all in favor, Aye.

Mayor reads water and sewer warrant for the first quarter of 2014 for $453,144.09 and entertains motion to accept as read, So Move, Deputy Mayor Phillips, Seconded, Trustee Ferrara, discussion, none, All in favor, Aye. Motion carried

Mayor reads letter from Children’s Community Services requesting use of Village Hall as an evacuation site, and entertains motion, So Move Deputy Mayor Phillips, Seconded, Trustee Ferrara, discussion, none, all in favor, Aye. Carried

Mayor entertains motion to appoint election inspectors Madeline Stanton and Bonnie Babcock, So Move Deputy Mayor Phillips, Seconded, Trustee Ferrara, discussion, none, all in favor, Aye. Carried

Deputy Mayor Phillips moves to hire John Lucariello as voting machine custodian for the June Village election, Seconded Trustee Brozier, discussion, none, all in favor, Aye. Carried.

Mayor entertains motion to set a public hearing for the MS4 annual report for May 19th at 7pm, So Move, Deputy Mayor Phillips, Seconded, Trustee Brozier, discussion, none, All in favor, Aye. Motion carried

Mayor reads resolution authorizing the issuance of $800,000 bonds for the Emergency generator at the wastewater treatment plant and entertains motion to approve as read, So Move Trustee Newhard, Seconded, Deputy Mayor Phillips, discussion, Mayor: we discussed this at the last meeting to replace the generator, all in favor, Aye.  Carried.

Mayor entertains motion to set a public hearing for Bill F-2014 a proposed local law to amend the zoning code regarding bank and financial services use, for May 19th at 7pm, So Move Trustee Brozier, Seconded, Trustee Newhard, discussion, none, all in favor, Aye.  Carried

Mayor entertains motion to designate the Village Board as lead agency for SEQRA, So Move, Deputy Mayor Phillips, Seconded, Trustee Ferrara, discussion, none, all in favor, Aye. Carried
