Chairman Tom Brooks opens the meeting at 7:00 p.m.
Present: Tom Brooks, Tom Newhard, John Depew, Ann Trost. Absent: Terry Palumbo. Also present: Don Van Nostrand, Board Secretary.
Minutes for meeting held on January 22, 2015 were approved at the training workshop held on March 26, 2015.
Chairman Brooks announces that there is no public hearings tonight and that
there is a area variance application submitted for the Brown residence located at 15 Patricia Avenue for review..
1. Brown Residence - 15 Patricia Avenue - Area Variance Application
Homeowner Greg Brown presented the drawings for the proposed addition to his home and a copy of the survey showing the house’s current setback of 30 foot.
He is requesting 5 foot (+/-) relief from the 30 foot minimum front yard setback.
Chairman Brooks read a letter (on file) from the Village Planner Sarah Brown on the application and noted that the proposed variance should be included in the plan set. The plan should show the location of the house and the proposed encroachment into the front yard setback.
Chairman Brooks entertains a motion to set a public hearing on the application.
John Depew makes a motion to set a public hearing on July 28, 2016. Motion seconded by Tom Newhard. Discussion none, all in favor, Aye. Motion carried.
Chairman Brooks entertains a motion to refer this application to Dutchess County
Planning. John Depew makes a motion to refer the application to Dutchess County Planning. Motion seconded by Tom Newhard. Discussion none, all in favor, Aye. Motion carried.
Chairman Brooks entertains a motion to close the meeting.
