Mayor opens Public Hearing for Bill A-2016, a proposed local law to amend the fines for parking offenses in the Village

 

Mayor summarizes Bill and opens to the floor for comment.  No comments, Mayor closes public hearing for Bill A and opens public hearing for Bill B-2016, a proposed local law to amend the training requirements for Planning and Zoning Board members

 

Mayor summarizes Bill B and opens to the floor for comment. No comments, Mayor closes public hearing and opens regular Village Board meeting.

 

Pledge of Allegiance

 

Present: Mayor Miccio, Deputy Mayor Phillips, Trustees Ferrara, Newhard and Brozier

 

Mayor entertains motion to approve the minutes of the March 7th meeting, So Move, Deputy Mayor Phillips, Seconded, Trustee Newhard, Discussion, none, all in favor, Aye.  Motion carried.

 

Mayor reads abstracts:

General $79,592.85

Water $24,698.19

Sewer $19,975.62

Trust & Agency $2,348.50

 

Mayor entertains motion to approve abstracts as read, So Move Trustee Ferrara, Seconded, Trustee Newhard, discussion, none, all in favor, Aye. Motion carried

 

Mayor reads resolution for Village Election on June21st and entertains motion to accept as read, So Move Deputy Mayor Phillips, Seconded, Trustee Newhard, discussion, none, all in favor, Aye. Motion carried.

 

Mayor entertains motion to set a public hearing for a proposed 2016-2017 Budget, on Tuesday, April 12th at 7pm, So Move, Trustee Brozier, Seconded, Trustee Newhard, discussion, none, all in favor, Aye.  Motion carried

 

Mayor entertains motion to approve Bill A-2016, as presented in public hearing, So Move Trustee Brozier, Seconded, Trustee Newhard, discussion, none, all in favor, Aye. Motion carried.

 

Mayor entertains motion to approve Bill B-2016, as presented in public hearing, So Move Deputy Mayor Phillips, Seconded, Trustee Ferrara, discussion, none, all in favor, Aye. Motion carried.

Discussion regarding Academy Street small patch of sidewalk; Board agrees to just remove it and plant grass.

Deputy Mayor Phillips moves to adjourn, Seconded, Trustee Ferrara, discussion, none, all in favor, Aye.  Meeting adjourns at 8:10
