Mayor opens Village Board meeting.

Pledge of Allegiance

Present: Mayor Miccio, Deputy Mayor Phillips, Trustees Ferrara, Newhard and Brozier, Village Clerk, Angela Arasim

Mayor entertains motion to approve the minutes of July 12th meeting, So Move, Trustee Ferrara, Seconded, Deputy Mayor Phillips, Discussion, none, all in favor, Aye.  Motion carried.

Mayor reads abstracts:

General $57,359.46

Water $6,819.29

Sewer $241,138.14

Capital Projects Firehouse - $2,161.76

Trust & Agency $51

Mayor entertains motion to approve abstracts as read, So Move Trustee Ferrara, Seconded, Trustee Brozier, discussion, none, all in favor, Aye. Motion carried

Mayor reorganization:

Reappointments: Deputy Mayor Pete Phillips, Clerk, Angela Arasim; Treasurer Jennifer Hetling; Acting Justice; Carl Wolfson.

Trustee Ferrara moves to accept reorganization as presented by Mayor, Seconded, Trustee Brozier, discussion, none, all in favor, Aye. Carried

Mayor reads Water/Sewer warrant for the 2nd quarter for $594,105.59 and entertains motion to accept as read, So Move Deputy Mayor Phillips, Seconded, Trustee Newhard, discussion, none, all in favor, Aye.  Carried.

Mayor entertains motion to accept proposal from Frederick P. Clark for the renewal of planning services, and authorize him to sign, So Move Deputy Mayor Phillips, Seconded, Trustee Brozier, discussion, none, all in favor, Aye.  Carried

Mayor reads resolution for “Think Differently” and entertains motion to accept as read, So Move, Trustee Newhard, Seconded, Deputy Mayor Phillips, discussion, Trustee Brozier asks if all local businesses will be aware of this resolution, V/Clerk to send to County Executive and newspaper, no further discussion, all in favor, Aye.  Carried.

Mayor entertains motion to rescind the open container law for the Village Block Party on August 20th, from Church St. to Robinson St along Main Street, So Move Deputy Mayor Phillips, Seconded, Trustee Brozier, discussion, none, all in favor, Aye.  Carried.

Mayor entertains motion to authorize him to sign the PBA Memorandum of Agreement as presented to Board, So Move Deputy Mayor Phillips, Seconded, Trustee Brozier, discussion, none, all in favor, Aye. Carried

Mayor reads resolution approving settlement of PBA Grievance and entertains motion to accept as read, so Move Deputy Mayor Phillips, Seconded, Trustee Brozier, discussion, none, all in favor, Aye.  Carried.

Justice report submitted and read by Mayor

Police report submitted and read by Mayor

Water/Sewer: Dave Morrison reads report, on file.

Project Coordinator report read by Rad Wilson

Ambulance report submitted by Trustee Newhard

Rod Farmer, Old Albany Post Road is present to discuss his water bill.

Deputy Mayor Phillips moves to adjourn, Seconded, Trustee Ferrara, discussion, none, all in favor, Aye.  Meeting adjourns at 7:43 pm
