Administrative:

        

          Acting Chairman Cris Phillips opens the meeting at 7:00 pm.

 

Roll call: Present: Cris Phillips, Matt Vetare and Stephen Brown. Absent: Hans Klingzahn,

Theresa Cuchelo, Reylene VanGeldern and Caitlin Brozier. Also present: Tom VanTine, Village Building Inspector and Code Enforcement Officer, Chritian Paggi, representing Paggi Engineering, Village Engineering, Sarah Brown, Village Planner and Don Van Nostrand, Board Secretary.

            

Chairman Cris Phillips entertains a motion to accept the minutes for the meetings held on September 21, 2017. Matt Vetare, so moved. Motion seconded by, Stephen Brown. Discussion none, all in favor, Aye. Motion carried.

 

Review:

           Chairman Phillips entertains a motion.

 

           Stephen Brown makes a motion to approve the sign permit for FKCSR Law as presented

           Motion seconded by Matt Vetare. Discussion none, all in favor, Aye. Motion carried.

           Motion carried.

 

          2. Hampton Inn                            - 1032 Main Street             - Sign Permit Application

           Ronald Franco, authorized representative for Hampton Inn (letter on file) updated the board on

           the proposed signage on the site where multiple signs (5) will be replaced.

 

           Code Enforcement Officer suggested that each sign be reviewed individually and voted on.

         

           Chairman Phillips entertains a motion on sign 2A.

 

            Matt Vetare makes a motion that sign labeled 2A be approved as submitted. Motion seconded

            by Stephen Brown. Discussion none, all in favor, Aye. Motion carried.

              Stephen Brown makes a motion that sign labeled 2B be approved as presented. Motion

              seconded by Matt Vetare. Discussion none, all in favor, Aye. Motion carried.

              Matt Vetare makes a motion that sign labeled 2C be approved as submitted. Motion seconded

               by Stephen Brown. Discussion none, all in favor, Aye. Motion carried.

 

               Chairman Phillips entertains a motion on sign labeled 2D.

              

               Stephen Brown makes a motion that sign labeled 2D be approved as presented. Motion

               seconded by Matt Vetare. Discussion none, all in favor, Aye. Motion carried.

 

               Matt Vetare makes a motion that sign labeled 2E be approved as presented. Motion seconded

               by Stephen Brown. Discussion none, all in favor, Aye. Motion carried.

               Tom Depuy updated the board on the project and informed the board that the Zoning

               Board had granted 3 variances on the project. One variance was a reduction of parking

               from 88 to 82 spaces. A second variance for the impervious area in the front yard was

               granted from 50% to an increase of 60%. The third variance was in the dumpster and storage

               area  where a variance from 30 feet to 10 feet from the existing building was granted.

 

              Sarah Brown covered her comment letter (on file) and discussed the tree replacement on

              the site. She also informed the applicants that a public hearing would be required because

              you are increasing the use of the property by adding rooms.

 

               Christian Paggi covered the engineering comments (letter on file) on the project.

 

               Chairman Phillips entertains a motion to schedule a public hearing for the next

               meeting scheduled for November 16, 2017.

 

               Stephen Brown moves to set a public hearing for the next meeting scheduled for

               November 16, 2017. Motion seconded by Matt Vetare. Discussion none, all in favor, Aye.

               Motion carried.
