Mayor opens Village Board meeting.

Mayor entertains motion to approve the minutes of December 7th meeting, So Move, Deputy Mayor Phillips, Seconded, Trustee Brozier, Discussion, none, all in favor, Aye.  Motion carried.

Mayor reads abstracts:

General $43,195.02

Water $10,535.18

Sewer $8,437.76

Trust & Agency $5,529

Mayor entertains motion to approve abstracts as read, So Move Trustee Brozier, Seconded, Trustee Newhard, discussion, none, all in favor, Aye. Motion carried

Mayor entertains motion to accept 2017 Board meeting dates, as presented by Village Clerk, So Move Deputy Mayor Phillips, Seconded, Trustee Newhard, discussion, none, all in favor, Aye.  Carried.

Mayor entertains motion to accept the 2017 Holiday office schedule as presented by Village Clerk, So Move, Deputy Mayor Phillips, Seconded, Trustee Newhard, discussion, none, all in favor, Aye.  Carried.

 

REPORTS

Building Inspector – Tom Vantine on vacation, no report submitted

Fire: Asst. Chief Vilardi reads report, on file.

Asst. Chief Vilardi reads letter of commendation from Town of Fishkill Police Chief Fazio regarding actions taken by Firefighters Burke and Demarco, in assisting the Town Police on an incident.

Mayor reads 12/6/16 election results as submitted by Protection Engine Co. secretary:

President, Jeff Lucariello, Vice President, JA Bruno, Treasurer, Peter Phillips, Secretary Donald Williams Sr., Trustees, Glen Scofield, Sr and Don Williams Jr., Captain, Daniel Burke, Lieutenants, Brian Canero and Kevin Kilkenny. Department elections: Chief, Brandon Knapp, Asst. Chief, Steve Vilardi, Dep. Chiefs, Glen Scofield, Sr. Glenn Scofield Jr. Don Williams Sr., Don Williams Jr, Rad Wilson

Justice report submitted by Court Clerk and read by Mayor

Police report read by Commissioner Scofield, Jr.

Commissioner recommends new hire John See as part time officer, police committee agrees; Mayor entertains motion to hire Mr. See as recommended as part time police officer, So Move Trustee Brozier, Seconded, Deputy Mayor Phillips, discussion, none, all in favor, Aye.  Motion carried.

Water/Sewer: Mayor reads report as submitted by Dave Morrison, on file

Project Coordinator report read by Rad Wilson and bid results are submitted for snow/ice removal.  3 bids submitted and the low bidder was Cutting Edge

Mayor entertains motion to accept the low bidder for snow/ice removal, So Move Trustee Brozier, Seconded, Trustee Newhard, discussion, none, all in favor, Aye.  Motion carried.

Ambulance report November submitted

Deputy Mayor Phillips moves to adjourn, Seconded Trustee Newhard, discussion, none, all in favor, Aye.  7:40 pm
