Hans Klingzahn, Chairman Village Planning Board discusses meeting with possible applicant Car Max to discuss property presently Holiday Inn on Rt. 9 to use a car lot.
There are a lot of ZBA and DOT issues that have to be met, also the SEQRA process can be lengthy. For any variances, the ZBA would have to do a complete EIS on their own, they cannot piggyback off the Planning Board. Greenway would also have to advise on certain issues.
Mayor advises to discuss with liaisons of Planning and Zoning, and Chairmen; it seems that some things slipped through on the Comprehensive Plan down in that PI District with what we had to go through with the bank down there; we inadvertently didn’t let banks in so there was a bank there and I don’t think we anticipated a big car lot there so maybe we need to take a look, at least, at that part of the comprehensive plan.
Deputy Mayor Phillips moves to adjourn, seconded, Trustee Newhard, discussion, none, all in favor, Aye. 8:22 pm
