Mayor opens meeting at 7pm

Present: Mayor Miccio, Deputy Mayor Phillips, Trustees Ferrara, Newhard and Brozier, Village Clerk Angela Arasim

Mayor entertains motion to approve the minutes of the January 5th meeting, So Move, Trustee Ferrara, Seconded, Trustee Newhard, Discussion, none, all in favor, Aye. Motion carried.

 

Mayor reads abstracts:

General $34,243.74

Water $5,241.94

Sewer $6,572.50

Capital Projects Rt. 9 Water Improvements  $5,742.28

Trust & Agency $6179.42

Mayor entertains motion to approve abstracts as read, So Move Trustee Ferrara, Seconded, Trustee Brozier, discussion, none, all in favor, Aye. Motion carried

Mayor entertains motion to approve cabaret license renewals for Piano Piano Wine Bar, Fast Eddies, Eleven 11, and Whitehouse, So Move Deputy Mayor Phillips, Seconded, Trustee Ferrara, Discussion, none, all in favor, Aye. Motion carried.

Mayor reads water and sewer warrant for the 4th quarter of 2014 and entertains motion to accept as read, So Move Trustee Ferrara, Seconded, Trustee Newhard, discussion, none, all in favor, Aye. Motion carried.

Mayor entertains motion to authorize him to sign Computel Consultants agreement to examine gross receipts tax payments, So Move, Deputy Mayor Phillips, Seconded, Trustee Brozier, discussion, none, all in favor, Aye. Motion carried.

Mayor entertains motion to authorize him to sign engagement letter from Victoria Polidoro of Rodenhausen Chale LLP regarding the adoption of a moratorium and amendments to the Village’s Comprehensive Plan and Zoning Law, So Move, Trustee Ferrara, Seconded, Trustee Brozier, discussion, none, all in favor, Aye.  Motion carried

Mayor entertains motion to set a public hearing for Bill A-2015, a proposed local law to place a 6 month moratorium on all applications for site plan and special permit approval in the Planned Industry District and on the issuance of building permits for solar panel and wind turbine installations in all districts of the Village, for 7pm February 17th, So Move, Trustee Brozier, Seconded, Deputy Mayor Phillips, discussion, none, all in favor, Aye. Motion carried

Mayor entertains motion to authorize him to sign engagement letter from Sedore & Company for auditing services for year ending May 31, 2015, So Move Deputy Mayor Phillips, Seconded, Trustee Ferrara, discussion, none, all in favor, Aye. Motion carried.

Mayor reads resolution regarding prior approval from Planning and Zoning Boards prior to any utility companies performing structural alterations of other types of construction improvements to their facilities in the Village.  Deputy Mayor Phillips moves to approve resolution as read, Seconded, Trustee Brozier, discussion, Deputy Mayor Phillips states this is a result of discussions in a meeting with Central Hudson, all in favor, Aye.  Motion carried.

Deputy Mayor Phillips moves to increase the Park pavilion rental fee to $75 for Village residents and $125 for Nonresident, Seconded, Trustee Newhard, discussion, none, all in favor, Aye. Motion carried
