NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN THAT, that on Thursday, July 26, at the Village Hall (Van Wyck Hall), 1095 Main Street, Fishkill New York, at 7:00 PM, or as soon thereafter as the matter is reached on the agenda, the Zoning Board of Appeals of the Village of Fishkill will hold a public hearing on the application of Fishkill United Methodist Church properties located at 38, 40 and 42 Broad Street, also known as Parcel Grid ID No. 6155-08-811898, 6155-08-803893 and 6155-08-801886. The proposed action is the rearrangement of lot lines for three existing lots to simplify ownership of each lot. The existing lots currently contain a church, a parking lot, a playground area and two 2-story dwellings (one single-family, one two family structure shall be relocated onto one of the proposed lots. The parcels are located in the R-75 Zoning and Historical Districts .
Section 171-8.C of the Village Zoning Law requires a lot width of 75 feet. The Applicant is requesting an area variance to provide a lot width of 55.22 feet. Section 171-8.C of the Village Zoning Law requires a front yard of 20 feet. The Applicant is requesting an area variance to provide a front yard of 3.2 feet. Section 171-8.C of the Village Zoning Law requires a rear yard of 20 feet. The Applicant is requesting a variance to provide a rear yard of 16.5 feet.
A copy of the application is on file at the Village Hall and available for inspection during business hours. At the public hearing all interested parties will be heard.
