Kathleen A. Martin was elected Mayor in June of 2021.

Kathleen is a lifelong Fishkill resident who has made a commitment to public service. Kathleen was appointed Assessor to the Town of Pleasant Valley in 1995, and in 2006, was appointed Assessor for the Town of East Fishkill and the City of Beacon. Kathleen attended local schools. She is a graduate of Our Lady of Lourdes High School in Poughkeepsie. Kathleen earned a Bachelor of Arts from Marist College.

Mayor Kathleen A. Martin has served as president of the Dutchess County Assessor’s Association, secretary for the Dutchess County Mayors and Supervisors Association, and member of the Dutchess County Ethics Board. As for our local community, Kathleen served as Vice President for Stonykill Farm, President of the Hudson Valley House of Hope, Secretary for the Wappingers Lacrosse Booster Club, and Director of Tball for Fishkill Little League. She also served on the Village of Fishkill Zoning Board of Appeals.

Kathleen is the proud mom to three children and grandma to two.
