The Activities Committee originated in 1999 to conduct events to celebrate the Village of Fishkill’s centennial.

Since that first year, other events such as Parades, block parties, yard sales, farmers market, and patriotic activities have been conducted by the Activities Committee. The Committee has evaluated suggestions from residents and, with the approval of the Village Board, has implemented several of the recommendations.

The Activities Committee is always receptive to suggestions for events and for volunteers.
